The spam filter has been known to block the email from some users do to the format of their email being close to spam mail formats. This is often due to the mail pgram being used by the sender. You can however stop the spam filter from blocking mail from an address or a range of addresses using the following procedure:
1) Go the spam filter control panel at: http://emailfilter.adtworld.net/
2) Login with the provided username or password (note you must be a administrator for your company to complete this procedure for all users)
3) Click on the menu item Policies.
4) On the “Allow/Deny Allow Senders Accept Message” line, click the Modify Link
5) Under the heading Allow list, enter an email address or domain name in the Add Entry box then click the Add button. Valid options could be:-
domain.com (all email address from this domain including bob@domain.com and sue@domain.com would be allowed through the filter always*). user@domain.com (only the email address user@domain.com would always be allowed the filter always*)
You can add as many as you like
If you want you can upload a file instead of adding the address one by one. When uploading a file, the file should be formatted with one entry (IP Address, Domain Name, or Sender Address) on each line.
* Note, all messages are checked for Viruses and are blocked if a virus is present regardless if a user has been set to be always allowed.
